Artist Background

Glory is a very talented London artist, showing at the young age of 21 great promising skills. Born in Antigua, he came as a young child to Britain, where he graduated with a First in Fine Art at Middlesex University.

His prolific work is rich in colour and subject matter. It tells of the culture of his early childhood and the beauty of natural life he absobes in the country of his birth.

Powerful figurative works reflect a combination of prominent social issues of today with mythological themes and stories enshrouded in the past. The dichotomy of the individual, in particular a black artist, being torn between personal longings and aspirations as opposed to the expectations of society.
